Fast Company and Eco Investing

Why Does Fast Company Magazine Give A Lick About Eco Investing?

The cover of the April Issue called it, "Measured Progress - Profits
for you and the Planet"
, but we recognize it as the trend of the future.
Saving the planet from Global Warming is no long a debate worthy topic;
it's become a trend that big businesses are capitalizing on to grow their
profit margins. Now that Green is "In", the press is pushing people to
invest in that direction. Fast Company Magazine is publishing the
truth about Eco Initiatives that can't be explained in quarterly reports,
which provides valuable information to investors that wasn't previously
available. Investors are being navigated on where to invest in the Green
Market, they're given information they can use to build their portfolios,
and other companies are going to be on the "fast track" to get their
information in front of these investors via the Fast Company reporting
strategy.

Green has made it to the big time and has the analysts comparing
The Green Industry to China and India, referring to Green as an
"Emerging Market"
of its own. Green has the momentum it needs now,
and it's continuing to grow.

For example, in the April 2007 issue, Fast Company Magazine reported:

"In 1995, some 55 socially screened mutual funds had $12 Billion in assets,
according to the Social Investment Forum .

A decade later, such funds numbered more that 200, with $179 Billion in
assets... and More than 100 investment managers and (Eco) Investors,
representing $5 Trillion in assets (Watch out India!), have signed on to
the Principles for Responsible Investing' , introduced by the United
Nations last year."

People are looking at social issues, they're getting involved, they're
asking questions and doing the research, and they're opening their eyes
to the endless possibilities available to them in socially responsible investing
and eco investing. Global markets for alternative fuel source are set for
explosive growth within the next decade, and now is the time to jump in
and invest. Do the research, allocate your dollars, and sit back and watch
your profits grow.
